The Maori God of Earthquakes and Volcanoes

Program Suite

Ruaumoko is actually a suite of programs which allow a researcher to do exhaustive analysis. Listed below is a brief definition of each of the programs in the suite.

Ruaumoko program iconRuaumoko2D: Time history analysis of non-linear two-dimensional structures

Ruaumoko 3d program iconRuaumoko3D: Time history analysis of non-linear three-dimensional structures

Dynaplot iconDynaplot: Post-processor program for Ruaumoko and Ruaumoko3D
Dynaplot produces plots of node and member results and combinations of these results. It can also produce floor response spectra for any node in the structure.

Combplot iconCombplot: A post-processor program for Dynaplot. Designed to combine the plots for different structures or for different analyses on the same structure.

Hysteres iconHysteres: A hysteresis rule exerciser. Used also to select hysteresis loop parameters to match experimental loops.

Spectra iconSpectra: Produces elastic response spectra for any earthquake acceleration time-history.

Inspect iconInspect: Produces in-elastic response spectra for any earthquake acceleration time-history for any of the hysteresis rules and strength degradation rules in Ruaumoko.

Pquake iconPquake: Produces a plot of the acceleration versus time for any earthquake acceleration time-history.

Simqke iconSimqke: Produces an artificial earthquake acceleration time-history for a specified psuedo spectral velocity spectrum or a specified acceleration spectrum.
